[sdiy] selecting a semiconductor manufacturer

Thanks for the info, Paul and Harry. I just seem to recall hearing (or 
reading) that NTE parts were parts that didn't meet the original 
manufacturer's specified tolerances, or were borderline.

I haven't had problems so far in using them at work, but was curious if 
potential problems could arise.
