[sdiy] EFM News: Argo & 3500 Modulars

Some may have guessed that the Argo was a test bed 
for the 3500 stuff. After the demise and disappearance
of the 3080 the logical thing (it seemed to me anyway)
was to build a synth that didn't have IC OTAs in it. 

The only two circuits needed to build an Argo that are
missing from the 3500 Part-1 are the AR eg and the 
ADSR key-trigger. 

Turns out a bunch of people want one!?. :)  I hope to 
complete the Argo carrier board (for 3500 pcbs) 
sometime this year. I have plans to use pcb mounted 
pots and switches on a much smaller board.= smaller 
case = lower cost... ect  so It's practically built :)

You can hear many of  the 3500 series modules in action 
(3522 for the VCF) on the Argo demo...Sorry about the 
crap playing.. :)
