  Way back when, in college, I took an elective course in quantum 
mechanics.  It was a strange yet wonderful class.  I knew it was going to 
be interesting when the professor (as opposed to being taught by a grad 
student aka 'staff' as this sort of thing scares them to death) started 
the first day of class by saying: "Anyone who says they understand quantum 
physics is lying to you." ;)
