[sdiy] Fw: MC1494 Bode FS

Hi there
has anyone out there tried cloning the Bode Frequency shifter?

the 796 chip I believe is a MC1496 in a metal can 10 pin

the MC1494 I cannot find anywhere - can anybody recommend a modern replacement?
