Don Lancaster's "Active Filter Cookbook" has several single transistor circuit
schematics as part of the explanations of basic active filter topologies.  I've
never tried them, but I would bet they work.  The schematics name part values,
but don't call out transistor numbers.  I would imagine that transistor
selection is probably something to play with and shouldn't be very difficult.
