Well I, for one, appreciate the communication, it was getting too quiet around 
here ;-)=  But yeah, we definitely should not be excluding anyone.

BTW, anyone have any good discrete single-transistor active filter circuits 
suitable for a basic LED spectrum analyzer/color organ? I'm trying to design 
one with minimum parts/size for an extremely portable application, and I don't 
do SMD.
