The SH2000 is the same. The reason in that case is that it uses the main
keyboard sample and hold circuitry to create the effect. As this is
normally used to hold the pitch when you let go of the note it can't be
used for both keyboard and wacky effect at the same time.

Personally I think on the SH2000 its a daft effect and the switch/space
could have been used for better things. For example a real filter cut-off
slider would be nice, or VCO mod to growl routing.

Nice sounding synth though.
