Hi everybody, I used to do service work for somebody who was selling EMS synthesizers in the 70's and as a result I came into a bunch of boards from MkI and MkII VCS3 (I think there's 9 in all of boards A-C) - all are untested as I don't have a VCS3 anymore. Also have a few odds ands ends ,some of those memory ics from the AKS etc.

I guess these will be useful for someone wanting to build several VCS3's or for spare parts. Now it's with a heavy heart that I part with these relics and wanted to get peoples opinions here as to whether they are worth anything at all these days in 'virtual' synth era.I'm semi-retired now, partly due to asthma condition from inhaling solder fumes all these years (buy fume extractors guys !)

I'll create a complete detailed list if needed.

I also have the original schematics and service manuals for several instruments EMS made, and these are a treasure in themselves.

I had a look at JH's clone and it's wonderful, I guess you could do the same with these and not have to do as much soldering !

Tony
