Hi All,

While searching around for pictures of umbrella girls, I mean while I was
looking for applications info on the LM3914 bar graph chip (yeah... that's
it), I came across a data sheet that mentions an interesting part: an LM604
multiplexing amplifier. Now this looks like a VERY handy part (check page 9
of the data sheet in the link below for an ap)

http://www.pigselectronics.com/graphics/lm34app.pdf

However, I have found ZIP (zilch, squat, nada, zero) on manufacturers,
availability, pricing or even other similar parts. This looks like a device
analog designers could really use. Has anybody run across this part?

Also, are there commonly available op amps with an enable input? This also
seems like a very useful feature, but I've only been able to find it on a
few low voltage (+/-5V), high frequency (>300MHz) parts. The Mux Amp, and op
amps with an enable pin could really simplify some analog designs, and
negate the need for high voltage (+/-15V or more) analog switches. Am I
missing some obvious sources on these, or are they unobtanium?
