[sdiy] PRN Noise Gennie Question

I've done it with a single digital line as the output, and optionally a 
filter. I like the way it sounds better. For my application, it was a 
noise source for a modular. It is useful to have all kinds of clock 
speeds. To make the noise sound white, you'll need a very fast clock, 
but I thought slow clocks were cool also. the VCO from a 4046 works well 
because it can give a fast clock.
