[sdiy] PRN Noise Gennie Question

Interesting question about the input.  I call it "clock",
because it's applied to the clock input of the shift register.

As far as output goes, I use one bit into a low pass filter.
 I don't know if there are advantages to using a DAC.  What I
hear sounds like (white?) noise to me using one bit into an LPF.
