Okay, we know retro sounds are definitely in vogue, but how many brand new
Rhodes pianos does this guy think he's going to be able to sell? A modern
unit would have to sell for between $1K to $2K (wild ass guess), and I just
don't know if there's enough customers out there to justify full production.
Maybe I'm wrong, but how many out there would be willing to shell out say
$1500 for a new Rhodes? Maybe there's a sufficient market to justify making
new spare parts, but full on Rhodes production? That would be sort of like
new Clavinet or Mellotron production (wasn't there a rebirth of the
Mellotron a few years back?); a neat idea, but not financially viable.

Just my $US.02

Tim (selling for just over $2K) Servo
