Hi everyone,

I know that a rhodes is not a synth by any stretch of the imagination,
but I'm sure that it's importance as an instrument is recognized
here. Also, anyone who owns one knows that servicing them has
increasingly become a diy affair.

The site www.fenderrhodes.org is down because of the action of current
rhodes name owner. It was one of the most complete resources I have
seen for a 20+ year old instrument. The site was loaded with
schenatics, service manuals, adjustment tips, etc.

It's sad that someone would see the site as a threat. I guess the
death rate of rhodes pianos may increase again as people become unable
to find the service info they need (unless they live in NY or LA where
there are still techs willing to work on them). Pile'em in the land
fills!
