What actually happened was that we met at his lower house and then 
drove up to the other one.
I left from there, forgetting to get the table, still down the hill.
There was no real refusal, just some situational forgetfulness. :)

He did give me a matted poster of him with the synth in back of it 
when I was at the second house and it's hanging on the back of my 
shop door now. :)
