Try using John Peatman's amazing trove of PIC-related info.

his textbook is a bit pricey for the avg. consumer (>$100), but it is
absolutely the definitive book on programming w/PICs. it covers
the flagship PIC, the 18F452, but every other PIC is a sub-version
of that one (which is - the 18F452 has the whole PIC instruction set,
and everything else [besides the new dsPICs] is a subset of that set).
check it out. invaluable tool.
