I spent a few hours getting a Roland RS-202 working the other day - replaced
about 70 capacitors. My description of the work done. I "got it going".
Restore? Nah. My Serge is a different matter. I put a hell of a lot more
work into that, including cleaning the face plates (old paper faces),
rewiring etc. That one is a restoration in progress. The amount of work I
put in would rival the value of the instrument.
