Hi JB & list members,


Thanks for your questions about ordering the THAT VCA chips.  Hopefully I
can answer everything to your satisfaction.

I have the chips in hand right now, and I can ship them out as soon as I
receive payment.

As of this writing, I have 100 pieces in stock as this time, with 9 pieces
spoken for (pending receipt of payment), leaving 81 available.  If my orders
exceed 100 pieces, I will need to re-order more.  It only took me four days
to get them from THAT Corp.  Of course, there is the possibility of delays
from the manufacturer, but I would assume that there is no immediate
shortage of these chips, and that similar delivery times will be available
for the foreseeable future.  If this becomes an issue in the future, I will
be sure to inquire about lead times from THAT Corp.  In any case, I have not
and will not take payments until I actually have chips in hand to ship out
immediately.  If there will be a delay, I will let you know and will not
accept payment until the new batch of chips arrives.

PayPal is in fact my preferred method of payment at this time, although for
people who do not like to use PayPal, I will try to accommodate other
methods if possible.

I would like to mention that I am a full-time electronics professional, and
synth-diy is a 'free-time, spare-resources' hobby for me.  Nonetheless, I am
doing my sincere best to treat everyone professionally and with prompt
attention, just as if you were ordering from 'one of the big guys'.

Anyone interested in placing an order should contact me off-list, and I will
send them the ordering information.
