All just terminology with little comparisons between industries. :)
No biggie. :)
What's done is what it is, be it overhaul, restoration, TLC or "I 
whooped it's ass."

Though to me, mint is something that grows in a garden, is what you 
get after a dinner out at a restaurant or defines an uncirculated 
coin from the mint. I don't think there's a mint vintage synth in 
existence, because it would have to come straight from the factory, 
somehow remain the same after 30 years and still wouldn't make my 
breath any fresher.

Fwiw, restoration to me wouldn't include making pcbs for a unit 
usually, because they wouldn't be stock.
I can't restore it to what it wasn't.  :)
