On and off for about a week or so.
Also working on a Sonic Six, Buchla Dodeca/258/206 and a Minitmoog.
But keep in mind, there's two power vacuum desoldering stations here,
all the parts are in stock and the place is kinda set up for this
sort of thing. My wife helped out with the key rebushing and edge
card polishing too.
Also, consider that if the correct order of operations is done, it's
a lot easier.
For example, resoldering the thousands of connections on the bottom
of the three voice board carrier pcbs is a LOT easier after they're
cleaned and detarnished. I turn up the heat of the soldering iron to
about 740F or so, use large .050 solder on these larger pins and
everything goes very quickly.
Quite honestly, it's quicker to resolder them in a production sort of
atmosphere than it is to inspect them all and solder what's needed
individually. ;-)
