Ray, I have had good results with the Motorola MPSA05 - it sounds decent and has a larger reverse B-E breakdown than most TO-92 NPN. Caveat: maybe I just lucked out on a good bag of these.. there was a long thread about the variability to be expected with noise trannies. Cheers, Mike
