What I meant was: I don't know what is broken, I haven't seen it. The owner
connected the phones output to the external input for that extra distortion
thing and then, when he changed the patch, it was toast. No sound. It lights
up though. A service type guy said that he had seen this a couple of times.
Seems many try these old tricks on the new machine and it don't work so
good.
I would *guess* output amplifier or OP close to external in or phone output.

That was what I feared. You see, the user has already had it serviced once.
The little plastic thingies that hold the keyboard was broken upon arrival.
The fix cost something like 1000 euros. So it's starting to be a very
expensive Voyager.
Does anyone on this list have a Voyager that one could reverse-engineer if
the need arises? Maybe I need some voltages measured at some point if I'm to
fix it myself.

PS. But the Moog is so warm and cosy - no way I will go anywhere else. I
think I'll warm it up some more...
