well, after a week of messing around, the 909 is fixed! a few looks at the
circuit board, some more resoldering and the behaviour was stabilized..
then the golden tip came from senso with a factory reset, which immediately
cleaned up bank 1 and made it programmable again. bank 2 could be cleaned up
by simply erasing the patterns, something that wasn't possible when it first
started doing this.
now i'm going to listen to my own old records to try to remember the
patterns i programmed into it in the last 10 years..;-)

senso!
