Hello Kevin,

Not that the Sonic Six VCO's are at all related, but the EML101 also uses the 
single transistors in the ua726 in their cheesy-but-effective expo converters 
(instead of using them as a differential pair).  They have Pin 6 (the 
temperature control pin) connected to +15 volts via a 1% 221K resistor, and they 
don't have any sort of trimmer for fine tuning the temperature adjustment.  It 
seems to me that you'd just need to get things in the ballpark, unless Moog were 
being overly clever in their design for some unexplained reason.  Were they 
really just trying to save a few mA of supply current?  I hope not...  Maybe 
they included the trimmer for those potential customers living in arctic or 
equatorial zones?
