It could be worse. You could have severe myopia like me and then have
presbyopia set in at 40. Suddenly the one aspect of my vision that did work
doesn't work anymore and I can't just put on a pair of reading glasses--I
have to buy a second pair of glasses just for seeing things within three
feet of my face.
