Thank you to everyone who has replied so far, we have positive identification
for 3 chips already!

OK, the SCL4082BC has been *destroyed*, it will never cause problems now!

Well, I finally decided to completely organize my IC collection. I have been
gathering these for over 30 years, from old projects, equipment salvage, parts
assortments, eBay buys, and old hobbyist collections. This last month has been
spent cataloging and organising these parts, and searching my databooks and the
internet for info on the parts that I am not familiar with. This short list of
ICs is what has been left out of the hundreds of parts that I *was* able to
identify.

I will probably list on my web site the ones that I am ultimately unable to
identify, in case some poor soul needs an obscure part to repair some old piece
of equipment.

The big advantage with this whole project is if somebody (including myself) is
looking for parts, I can tell right away whether I have them or not.
Transistors and diodes are next, but I don't think that I'll have any
identification problems there.

Take care,
Doug
