[sdiy] 1488 line drivers - anybody got any use?

You could use them for level translation between 5V logic signals and
circuitry running off +/-12V analogue rails (not sure if they'll withstand
+/-15V...check the datasheet). Obviously this is all they really do when
acting as RS232 receiver/transmitters, but the signal doesn't HAVE to be
RS232 serial data...
