You might also want to check the TLC7628

about the same price (actually a few cents cheaper I think), but the
difference between this one and the 7528 is "The TLC7628C operates from a
10.8V to 15.75V power supply and is TTL compatible over this range." Sounds
like it would be easier to interface to micros or 74 series TTL.
