Hi all!

I just saw this review for a gaming interface that lets you move physical buttons whereever you want:

I'd love to see something like this for a synthesizer.  That's been the advantage of softsynths or the GUI for the Nord Modular - your can have just the controls you want, where you want them.  The downside, of course, is no physical buttons.  Now, if someone could modify/extend the DX1 to have knobs, sliders, and rotory encoders, and to output MIDI and/or CV, it would be an amazing front end to analog or softsynths!  While we're at it, add LEDs/displays that can be placed anywhere and addressed.

Any thoughts?  Anyone working on something like this?
