[sdiy] Speeding up synth wiring -- ideas?

Yes there is a truck load of stripped and tinned and/or crimped cable for
interconnects on the market.
I get a type from Conrad (German) that comes with a locking SIL connector +
PCB header on one side and stripped and tinned wire-ends on the other side.
Available from 3 to 10 pin, I stock 3, 6 and 8. Wires are single and color
coded and run easily from the board to multiple jack or pots.
The extra cost come back in time saving two fold. If shielding is needed I
twist or put a mesh around the wires.
Farnell and others carry similar items, but often without the connector
pair. Only pre-crimped contacts to insert in a connector-body on one side
and stripped and tinned ends on the other (or crimped contacts on both
sides).
There is also a kind of ribbon cable with a 100mill "footprint" pre cut and
ready to jumper between PCBs. This stuff is rather 'stiff' but should work
with pots also.
Don't know where you should go in the US, but its definitely there...
