While moderately alarming, surely some company out there must still be
making this part. At one time, everybody and their brother was turning out
709 (the original manufacturer was Fairchild, who called it the uA709...).
Personally, I never found much use for them...they were not, in my opinion,
a very good opamp (when they first came out, in the 60's, they were the
best, however...).
