[sdiy] Questions about the Jomox Mbase01

Hello everyone..   I'm wondering if anyone can give me any information about the inner workings of the jomox mbase01..   i'm thinking from the sound, it's just a digiatlly controlled modified 909 bassdrum..   Can anyone confirm or deny this?
