Ya think? I know someone who built themselves a complete performance synth 
in Csound. It only took them four years.

It's a rather stupid language in many of ways. Max/MSP is much more 
productive, but - of course - costs money.

You get what you pay for.

I always find I run out of memory, trip over some serious bugs, or 
generally get endless grief and hassle whenever I try to use Csound.
