[sdiy] drone, evolve, and drone some more...

hello all-

I just realized- you guys (& girls?) are the perfect
group to ask about this.

The modular I'm in the process of putting together
right now is intended not to be used for "lead" or
traditional synthy types of sounds, I'm planning to go
more for drones and more complex evolving types of
sounds. More of the hit a key/hold down a key and
maybe manipulate a few knobs as tthe sounds grow.

What I'm wondering is this- do you have any
recommendations for any modules you'd consider must
have for my intentions? I ask because many of you have
been doing this so much longer than I have, so the
wisdom and experience is invaluable. I'm building most
of it myself, so pointers to schematics & all are
welcome, but if it's a kit or module made by someone
(i.e. blacet) those suggestions are welcome as well.

I'm hoping I come across something I'd have never
thought of- everyone has a different take on things...
the synth as it stands is _completely_ frankensynth
looking, so pretty much anything will fit in. I love
that aesthetic- the jumble...

Thanks again!

S
