For inspiration, check out what Wendy Carlos did with the Synergy/GDS - 
she has amazing patches using just four waveforms (granted, some of them 
are triangle waves, not sine). It's absolutely amazing what she did _by 
ear_. The sliders you're using remind me of her GDS ;)
