[sdiy] Spring reverb question...

I have the reverb tank from a '67 Fender Twin that died an unpleasant 
death (the amp, not the tank), and I was wondering if there was a 
not-too-complicated way to integrate it in to my modular. I assume I 
need an amplifier to poke the signal in to the tank, then some sort of 
preamp to retrieve it. Is there someone here that has done this, or is 
there some info online somewhere that I can peruse to see how it is 
done?
