Hi Greg,

While you are shuddering, can you tell me what it is about 70's drum 
recording that you don't like? I don't remember anyone mentioning this 
before. I have heard people complain about Don Henley's snare drum sound 
("the sound of an aluminum baseball bat thwapping into a large wedding 
cake" was one comment), and there were plenty of people who grew weary of 
Phil Collins' gated-reverb drum sound. What's the deal with the 70's?
