I recently posted that I had a bad mux chip , CD4067.
The chip was fine, it was the sliders.I took said sliders apart and found
that the end of the resistive track wasn't making contact with the terminal
- IOW open, hence the consistently HIGH wiper voltage.
I added a socket for the 4067's anyway and am waiting for some new sliders
to come in.
In the mean time I transplanted the EG Key Follow sliders to the bad slots
and grounded vacant slider inputs to the mux ( I rarely use those)
Oh and NEVER spray Super PPE on these Roland sliders - I screwed one of
them up, and only partially rejuvenated it with some silicone spayed on the
casing NOT the resistive track.
