I had a problem with my decay not working when I assembled mine. It was
shorting out between the decks. For some reason, she used a double deck pot
on the decay even though the second deck doesn't do anything. It drove me
crazy until I figured it out. I found the problem when I discovered that if
I just stuck a resistor where the pot went, everything worked fine. So, I
clipped off the pins for the second deck, resoldered the pot in and now
everything is fine. Later!

Subject: [sdiy] x0xb0x/303 knob problem
I have just finished building my x0xb0x but the accent knob and decay knob
do not do anything, and the env mod knob does not behave correctly,
increasing it closes the filter. I have checked orientation of components
and everything is as should be, any ideas?
FWIW most of the components are the same as a 303 and indeed a lot of the
designators are the same, so any 303 experts I would be greatful of your
input. Thanks!
