Hardly a synth movie, but:   The Commitments

Just recently saw Pink Floyd Live In Pompeii--The Director's Cut.   Guess, 
compared to the original, there's added footage of PF in the Abbey Road studio 
circa Dark Side of the Moon.   On topic fun moment:   Roger Waters is shown 
playing/tweaking an EMS synth, a VCS3 or some such.
