The most likely problems I guess will be mechanical, like the J-wires in the
keyboard (which are easily cleaned) and the sliders (much harder to fix - if at 
all).

My Axxe also had a couple of bad solder joints when I got it, which were easily 
fixed.  I've read of components going bad in old ARP gear (mostly capacitors),
but I have no experience with that myself.
