[sdiy] Powertran Transcendent 2000 CV/Gate mod?

Hi John,

Yes this sounds about right .. I CV'ed up my T2000 a long time ago
(before I knew very much about electronics) and I ending up installing a
toggle switch on the back panel to switch from internal CV to external
CV (so the keyboard CV doesn't add to the external CV). I also ending
up installing a relay which was triggered by the external Gate to
simulate pressing a key.

As I said, I didn't know much about electronics in those days! There
are certainly *much* more elegant ways to do this (although this
solution has been working for me for many years!) One day I will get
round to re-doing it .. the whole synth could do with an overhaul anyway.

Here are the construction details and schematics ..

This should make the job of modifying it a bit easier.

Cheers,
Seb
