[sdiy] Powertran Transcendent 2000 CV/Gate mod?

Well, last night I connected up my Transcendent 2000 for the first time in about
five years (it's been alternately lent out to beginning musician friends, or
just lying around!) - and I'm pleasantly surprised by its sound...

However - when I connected it to my Kenton Pro2000, I found that its behaviour
over CV/Gate was a little odd - gate only takes effect if a key is pressed
down, and CV is added to the note held on the keyboard.

Questions:
1) is this normal?
2) is there a mod to give me a more conventional CV/Gate behaviour (like my SH2
- where the external CV/Gate effectively disables the keyboard)

Of course, now my OSCar has nowhere to sit, and is languishing sadly in a
corner... I need more space, and a bigger mixer ;-)
