[sdiy] OT: making "IDM"

I just saw both Chick and Herbie this last winter here in Toronto.  In 
both cases, in addition to the mandatory 9' grand piano, they had sweet 
synth set-ups.  Chick also played a very tricked oot Rhodes.  Herbie's 
rig was G5 based and so were the horn players' synth rigs.  Brecker is a 
very sweet sax player and he also played a very crowd pleasing EWE solo: 
very funky.

People who live in Memphis and complain aboot access to live music need 
to contect with their inner blues, man.  ;-)
