If you have one definitely use it, sure.

You get a double whammy. Both are true - less need to overclock yet at the 
same time greater ease in doing so. The shorter the delay you can get the 
better a flanger will sound.

The very low impedence of the BBD is what necessitates the need for a 
buffer. We don't want to hurt the clock driver's feelings.
