Take a look at the specsheet for the SAD1024 - one of the application 
circuits shows a 733 used as a differential amp for improved clock 
signal cancellation at the BBD outputs. Note that the 733 is a 
power-hungry chip,  also cannot be operated directly off the standard 
+/-15V rails without exceeding supply voltage ratings.
