If you did, I'd say "welcome to the dark side of the force..."  ;^P

Actually that might be audiophile-level overkill (if you meant
separate transformers for each module).   Actually separate
transformers might have some benefit at that power level...
no chance of them interacting...

Maybe "on-card regulation" might be enough for a synth. Don't
forget to go totally hewitt-packard and put each module in its
own little RF shielded box.

And (honestly)... even with on-card regulation I'd still use a
voltage reference for the really critical points. They are way
better than a simple voltage regulator.

H^) harry  (who once designed an LM4040A into a circuit and later
discovered it was 100 times better than the rest of the circuit.
Switched
to the cheap-o 4040D after that)
