This brings up a question which bugs me for quite some time. Not only
the Mirage "forbids" self-oscillation, also the ESQ1 and SQ80. During
filter calibration, Q correction values are determined which just forbid
self-oscillating.
Why? The way they did it effectively limits the range of sounds these
machines can generate, i.e. no "sonar ping" for instance, no chirps, no
smacking.
