Probably pay a lot for shipping, to begin with! Some of the
console-type testers look like they'd be great chassis for a tube-based
synth. I imagine mounting new controls on the panel, and replacing many
of the sockets with those needed for synth and audio antics. How about
a pre-amp, VCF, pre or post wavefolder, VCA / ringmod, and LFO? The
mind reels, as I turn my garage upside-down, looking for suitable
enclosures to dozens of projects...
