Scott, you should trade up if you like the 6000.
The 8000 will sear your ears right off. It's got
some of the best organs, basses and leads on
the planet.... Very underrated....Huge bit of
hardware....A friends sister had a Ex8000 and
hated it so.....you know.... Out of the kindness
in my heart I offered $100 bucks and she almost
blistered my hand taking the cash...Sometimes I
can't believe my luck. One of these days I'll tell
you about my $50 Prophet 600 :)

The best thing about the 6000 and 8000 is the
factory patches are the worst ever programmed
by any manufacture they really!! suck....:)
Keeps 'em cheap.
