[sdiy] Dual power supply solution?

If it was my choice... I'd

1) Use a +/-15V linear supply (PowerOne, Condor, Tamura whatever...)

2) Hook up ALL modules that can be run on the +/-15 directly to that
supply
(most modules that can use +/-12 can use +/-15 as well...)

3) Use 7812 / 7912 regulators to make the +/-12 for those modules that
absolutely NEED that supply
